Sahana is a freshman at Northwestern University. She increases diversity in STEM through her work on Crimson Classroom a program that she created to bring robotics into K-12 classrooms and a non-profit she created, Computer Science for Kids, to teach students about programming, cybersecurity, and presentation skills. Sahana also created trilingual FIRST Lego League guides for students in Uruguay.
Brittney is a senior at New Rochelle High School who created the New Rochelle United Science Exploration mentoring program. This program paired students with mentors and challenged them to create a STEM-based project. In addition to coordinating the program, Brittney mentored two students. At the end of the summer, the students were given the opportunity to present their projects at a science fair.
